共襄国际教育盛举，同育中澳未来领袖

——澳大利亚维多利亚州未来领袖青少年交流项目闭幕

2019年4月23日，澳大利亚维多利亚州未来领袖青少年交流项目（VYLC）闭幕式在我校大礼堂举行。闭幕式为34位澳大利亚师生一个月来在上外附中的学习交流划上了圆满的句号。澳大利亚维多利亚州政府大中华区特派专员Tim Dillon先生,  上海教育国际交流协会秘书长李维平先生，上外附中校长束定芳先生等嘉宾出席本次闭幕式。                                                                                        

The closing ceremony of the Victorian Young Leaders to China was held at the hall of SFLS on April 23rd 2019. Many distinguished guests, including Mr. Tim Dillon, Commissioner of Greater China Victorian State Government of Australia, Mr. Li Wei Ping, Secretary General of International Education Association Shanghai, and Mr Shu Ding Fang, Principal of SFLS, attended the closing ceremony.

Tim Dillon先生代表澳大利亚维多利亚州政府对我校的热情接待表示感谢，并表达了对未来合作的期待。澳方教师Micheal Jaremczuk先生讲述了他和他的学生们一起亲历这四周附中生活，对我校参与活动的国际部师生表示感谢，并赠予师生来自澳大利亚的礼物。束定芳校长盛赞此项目是国际教育交流的盛举，为中澳双方师生提供了交流与合作的平台，同时愿上外附中的热情与用心的接待能让远道而来的师生们感受到附中多元的文化氛围、体会到学习汉语的乐趣。李维平秘书长和束定芳校长共同为澳方学生代表颁发结业证书，赠送来自中国的礼物，也为我校参与活动的志愿者颁发证书。

Our distinguished guests made important speeches one by one, in which they highly complimented the success of the program. In fact, in Mr. Tim Dillon’s speech, he thanked SFLS for our hospitality and cordiality on behalf of the Victorian State of Australia, and was looking forward to future cooperation. Furthermore, Mr. Micheal Jaremczuk, the Australian teacher representative, showed his appreciation of the help of all the SFLS teachers and students involved, and gave each of them a gift from Australia. Right after that, Secretary General Li and Principal Shu together awarded the certificates to the Australian student representatives, as well as a gift from China, a lovely panda doll for each of them. Then, they also issued the certificates for the volunteers whose contribution made this program even more successful.

项目学习成果展示首先由中预四班房俊辰与中预MYP班郭嘉惠带来，他们代表我校近50名参与交流活动的志愿者发表感想。中预同学入校不久就参与到与澳大利亚同学的各项交流接待中，做个外交家的种子也从此萌芽。随即，澳大利亚同学分为五组将本次中国之行的所学所得一一展现出来：从诗歌到书法，从太极拳到中国菜，他们边说边演；从校园到博物馆，从家庭到商场，他们用汉语展示在中国的所见所闻所想。

The presentation of the Australian students came right after the speeches of Fang Chen Jun and Guo Jia Hui from grade 6. In the program, our Australian friends had spent 4 weeks studying in SFLS, with fruitful result. Therefore, in the presentation, they showed in five groups all that they had learnt during their stay in China.

本次闭幕式在澳大利亚VYLC项目师生与我校师生共同合唱的《好一朵美丽的茉莉花》中结束。花开四季、芬芳各异，而2019年的这份茉莉花香因中澳师生在上海、在上外附中所共同经历的一切而格外沁人。愿美丽的茉莉花植根于中澳未来领袖的心间，期待动人的歌声再次为中澳两国间的教育交流盛举而唱响。

Eventually, the closing ceremony ended with Australian students and SFLS students singing the song Jasmine together. Even though they are leaving Shanghai now, the memory of what we have experienced together in this four weeks will persist.
